coming together

finishes continue bringing the house and project closer to a space as envisioned through the work of many people. the initial two coats of stucco is applied over two days [scratch coat is applied, then cures for five days, followed by the brown coat]. interior doors came a week early, and most were hung in place. the drywall has been taped and plastered, and now has two coats of smooth texture. a finish carpenter has come to build the alcove for the recessed lighting.
