three weeks work

concrete slabs formed and layed, deck frame primed and painted, cementious weatherproofing layered and flashed, block walls capped and grouted, entry stairs formed and poured. the images present a visual addendum.

concrete work

the previous week and a half have been little bits of framing and plumbing pick up, but were predominantly focused on concrete work being done in the backyard by t. e. nevares. first a concrete footing was formed and poured; this helps reinforce the existing retaining wall. then two planter boxes were formed with concrete masonry units. the next pour consisted of two landing and stair sets with a colored concrete that has a sand finish. the rest of the backyard becomes hardscaped with the same finished colored concrete.
